Inside My Travel Makeup Bag

Hey you! I’ve been MIA this past week, due to a lot of work, it was a lot. But now, most of it is all done and now, things are getting back into normal. So, if you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t, you have to), you’d know that last weekend was the christening of my niece. So, just keep on reading!

Firstly, the makeup bag. It’s from Primark and it is originally not supposed to be a mekup bag. But, everythings fit in so well, that now I just keep it as a makeup bag. also, it was a gift from my boyfriend, last year, maybe you can still find it in some stores, but online, I cannot find. Now, into the makeup that I took with me!

ELF Hydrating Under Eye Primer – Clearly this is an undereye primer, but I’ve been using it all over my face and I find that it does work a lot better than most primers. It is moisturizing and absorbs really quickly into the skin. And, even though it does not fill the pores I cannot say enough good things about it.

Avon Stick Concealer in Medium and Tarte Shape Tape in Light Sand If you know me, I do not wear foundation that much but I adore concealer and I’ve been mixing these two for the past month and I’ve been loving the look. You’ll definitely see them in an upcoming favourites post.

Avon ColorTrend Oil Control Pressed Powder in Light This is such a finely mild powder! Although this is not my actually shade, I find that once on the skin, you cannot tell that the colour is too light. Plus, it does keep me matte.

Revolution Duo Face Sculpt – This is quite a red-based bronzer and I haven’t got anything like it in my collection. Don’t be scared that it is a red-toned, once on the skin, it does look very natural.

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette – I have been using this guy for the last two months now and I haven’t put it down yet. For eyeshadows, I’ve been loving the shade Coconut Cream to set my hole lid and highlight the brow bone. Then I mix Mousse and Peanut Butter together and use them through the crease and lid and that’s it. I also have been using this palette for my face highlighter and for this I mix Butter Pecan with a little bit of Pink Sugar and apply it to the cheeks. It is such a beautiful combination!

Have you tried any of these? What do you take with you? NA

May Favourites | 2018

Hey you! I’d like to firstly apologize for being MIA this past week, but school got in the way and it was just crazy. Secondly, it is the end of the month. Again! But as much as I love favourites posts, the time has gone by so quickly. However, if you want to know what I was loving this past month, just keep on reading!

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette – I’ve had this eyeshadow palette for a while now, and I’ve never actually really use it, but, now, I’m absolutely loving this. I’ve been using it as my eyeshadow palette and as my highlighter. It’s such a nice palette, plus, it does smell really nice.

Revolution Duo Face Sculpt – I’ve never loved bronzer that much but, lately I’ve been adoring it, and using it every single day. I do not leave my house without bronzer, that’s how much I love it. This one pulls slightly red-toned and I’m not even mad, I just feel like it does look a little bit more natural on the skin. Plus, it is quite affordable, and there is a lot of product!

Avant RNA Radical Firmness Anti-Ageing Serum – This I got in my LookFantastic Beauty Box and I cannot tell you how good this product is. It just applies beautifully to the skin. leaving it feeling super hydrated and smooth. The full-size is expensive product, but, for me, absolutely worth it.

ELF Tinted Moisturizer in Nude This is the most perfect base. I love light-coverage and this one is perfect. Easy to apply, does not oxidizes or look patchy. Perfect for the everyday look!

Avon Naturals Delicate Shower Gel – I adore this smell and I wish they did a body mist smelling exactly like this. Plus, it does leave my skin feeling really nice and hydrated. I couldn’t love it more.

April Favourites | 2018

Hey you! So, the end of the month has arrived, so it means it is time for one of my favourite posts, the monthly favourites. I adore writing these and I also adore seeing what other people were enjoying and probably, find some new products to try. Now, if you want to know what were the products that I was loving this past month, just keep on reading!

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light Medium and The Saem Cover Perfection Tip Concealer in 1.5 Now, you must be wondering why I am mentioning these two product together. Well, the reason is quite simple, I’ve been enjoying both of them together. I find that the Saem one just looks too cakey under my eyes, without giving me any coverage. Mixing it with the Shape Tape just made it amazing. This combination lasts all day and it looks like a filter on my skin. It is amazing!

Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Amber – I love the formula of these products and I’ve talked about the shimmery version previously on my blog, but now, I’ve discovered this one and it is amazing. It is such a nice and natural shade for bronzer, plus, it blends like a dream!

Labello in Milk & Honey This was a product that I picked up because I’d run out of lip balms, and I had no expectations for it, I mean, how good could a lip balm be. Let me tell you, this is such an amazing product. It smells amazing and leaves your lips super smooth and soft.

ELF Tone Adjusting Face Primer in Neutralizing Green I’ve had this product for a while now, but I decided it was time to pull it out and start to use it, and I’ve been enjoying it. It is a silicone-based primer, so if you do not like that, this product is not for you. But I find that t just blurs the pores so well. However, the green tint, I find that it does nothing when neutralizing the green, but for an affordable blurring primer, this product is nice.

March Favourites | 2018

Hey you! So, today we’ll bring it back to basics and to one of my favourite posts to write and to read! I cannot believe how fast has this year gone by. Soon it will be summer, then the school year is starting and when you realize it, it’s Christmas again. That is just crazy how fast time actually goes! But, today, I’ll be sharing with you my favourite products of the past month and if you want to know what it was, just keep on reading!

L’oreal Paris Purify & Mattify Face Mask – I forgot about this mask. It did come out some time ago, and I purchased it, and totally forgot about it. I’ve been using it this past month and my skin really likes it. It just cleanses my skin, without drying my skin out. Just a good mask to purify the skin and the pores!

Avon ColorTrend Eyeshadow Stix in Creamy Coffee I love my brown eyeshadows and this product is such an easy product to an everyday use. It is so easy to put on the eyes and even easier to blend it out. Plus, it is such a nice colour!

Farsáli Unicorn Essence Skin Enhancing Antioxidant Serum – This is something that took me forever to pick up, just because everyone was talking about it and I felt like this could not be that good. However, I’ve been using it everyday as a face primer. I know, crazy since I have oily skin, however, this is just like a filter in a bottle. It just nourishes the skin and I feel like it helps with the texture of the skin. It is so good!

Bioten Skinnergy Moisturizing Cream-Gel – First of all, this smells amazing. And it is perfect for my oily skin. It moisturizes my skin without being too much for my skin to handle. It is such a nice product.

Freedom Eyeshadow Palette – No shade in particular, since this palette is something that I put together, it does not come with these shades. I had a few of these palettes, and I decided to switch some shades, which are perfect for an every day look. But, I’m loving the formula of these. They are smooth, pigmented (but not over-pigmented) and so easy to blend. It just looks so nice on the eye!

February Favourites | 2018

Hey you! I feel like I always say this in every favourites post that I do, but can you believe that the month has already ended? It went by so quickly. Anyway, in today’s post I’ll be sharing the products that I was loving through the month of February. If you want to know what those products were, keep on reading!

Prreti Berry White Eye Serum – This is a Korean beauty product and it has an interesting texture, almost like a gel-like serum. It is really nice under the eyes and I’ve found that it does really help with my fine lines. I do recommed this product.

Kiko Smart Eye Pencil in 800 I’ve forgotten about this product, but I’ve recently pulled it out, just because I was wanting a little something in my water line. However, I find that whites or nudes are too much for my liking, so this guy is perfect. It’s a sheen nude, that just gives a beautiful glow to the water line, making you instantly look more awake. I love it!

Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette – Everyone knows Huda Beauty, but I was always a little scared to pick a palette. However, when she came out with these beauties, I could not resist and picked this guy up. Although this is more of a cool-toned eyeshadows, I’m loving them. The pigmentation is amazing and they blend like a dream. I am for sure getting another one!

Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Starstruck I love Rihanna, and yes, that is no reason to purchase and item, but I had to. And it does not disappoints. The pigment is there, the shade is beautiful, and on the skin, it is even more gorgeous. Again, I am for sure getting another of these!

Avon Clearskin Blemish Clearing Spot on Instant Gel – I just picked this item, not expecting anything from it, at all. However, when I tested it, it just got rid of the blemishes so fast, like nothing I have ever tried before. Plus, it does last a long time, since a little goes a long way!

January Favourites | 2018

Hey you! Can you believe it’s the end of January already? Crazy, right! However, this also means that it is time to another favourites post! So, if you want to know what I was loving this past month, keep on reading!

ELF Makeup Mist & Set in Clear I did think that i was not going to like this seting spray, just because I’m too picky when it comes to setting sprays. However, this has a nice mist and it does set my makeup nicely, getting rid of the powdery look. I’ve been using it everyday!

Avon Color Trend Lush Lip Balm in Berry I picked this up, and I’m glad I did. It is such a dark red wine, but since it’s a tinted balm, the colour is not as strong as you’d thought. It’s a nice formula, a nice colour and a nice touch to the everyday makeup!

Diadermine Mattifying Day Cream – I’ve loved this moisturizer for so long and I’ve talked about it in my blog before. However, lately, I’ve been loving to use this to prime my skin before applying any base products. And, it does work really nice for that. All the other products just go on top so smoothly!

Technic Highlighter Stick in Bronze I’ve recently pulled out this product from my makeup collection and I’ve been using it everyday since. It is such a nice, natural and yet quite “in your face” highlighter. Plus, this champagne shade works so well with my skin tone!

W7 Chunky Bronzer in Hawaiian Bronze Again, I’ve talked about this product before, but, like he highlighter, I’ve recently pulled it out of my makeup collection and I’d forgotten how good it is. Such a natural looking colour.

Tarte Shape Tape Concealer in Light Medium If you follow my blog, you might know that I was so excited to get this product, but once I tried it, I just did not fell in love. However, the more I used it, the more I reached for it. And, now, it is in one of my project pan (let me know if you want to see a post about it). This guy, is the never-ending concealer. But is actually a nice product, so I am enjoying it!

My Favourite Beauty Products of 2017

Hey you! Firstly, happy 2018! And, since it’s the beggining of the year, I find it is time to share the products that did stand out in 2017!

I did think about doing it only with the products that released in 2017, but I found that there was others that I want to include. I also thought that I should do a product for every category, but then again, there were products that did not stand out to me in every single category. Also, if you’re wondering what those orange sticks are, those are the products that I want to finish this year! So, without further due, let’s jump into it!

W7 Chunky Bronzer in Hawaiian Bronze I adore this product to bronze my skin. And even though it has a slight sheen to it, it just looks so natural on the skin. It is such a nice product and so affordable!

Avon Ideal Flawless Nude Matte Fluid Makeup in Bright Quartz OMG! I cannot recommed this foundation enough! And, coming from someone, who does not love to wear foundation, this one is great. So light-weight and almost watery. It blends like a dream!

Tarte Shape Tape in Fair Neutral When I first got this concealer, I was not that blown away by it, but I found myself reaching for it every time I did my makeup. It blends so well. And I find that it does not crease under my eyes.

Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown This is a dual ended brow product and even though I love the pencil side of it, I love the other side even more. It has a filling powder and it makes doing your brows so easy and fast! Couldn’t recommend it enough!

Essence Make Me Brow in Browny Brows This is such a hidden gem at the drugstore! It tints the eyebrows and keeps them in place all day! Plus, it is so affordable. There is no down side to this product!

Essence Sheer & Shine Lipstick in Glamour Queen This is such a my lips but better colour, which makes it super easy to wear with any makeup look! And it does lasts a decent time on the lips. Great product for everyday use!

ColorPop Super Shock Shadow in I Spy I belive this colour is discontinued but I was reaching for this shade for the everyday makeup look! It looks so nice all over the lid and slightly blown into the crease! The perfect shade!

November Favourites

Hey you! So, first things first! Again, I’m so sorry for not being able to post (again) last Tuesday. It has just been crazy, but hopefully, things will be normal now! Fingers crossed! Next, can we just take a moment to embrace how close Christmas is! It is crazy. Also, let me reveal that I’ll be doing Blogmas! I won’t be posting every single day of the month, but every post, will be Christmas related! That should be interesting!

Now, with all the updates out of the way, if you want to know what I was loving during the month of November, just keep on reading!

Avon Contour Duo – When I got this, I was disappointed because I felt like the contour side was too dark, and the highlighter was pure glitter. And I hate glitter highlighters. However, lately, I’ve been loving the contour side. It just looks so good on!

Rimmel Good to Glow Highlighter in Soho Glow I love this! It is not the most blinding highlighter. It is so subtle, but I’ve been loving to use it as a base for my powder highlighter, and it works so good! Or if I’m having a no-makeup makeup day, I just put it on and it gives the most beautiful sheen to the skin.

Avon Fragrance Rollerball in Far Away This is one of my favourite Avon scents and it lasts so long on my skin. I’ve had it for a long time now, and even though I’ve been using it every day, it is not going anywhere! It just lasts! However, the scent is so nice, quite floral, which I normally do not enjoy.

Maybelline Brow Satin in Dark Brown I love this product for my brows! It is a double ended pencil, which has in one side the pencil and in the other it has a filling powder. I use the pencil to outline the shade of my brows and then I go in with the powder to fill them in, and it looks so good and natural. Plus, it lasts all day. One of my favourite brow products!

October Favourites | 2017

Hey you! So, October is over. How crazy is that! And I just cannot believe how fast we’re approaching Christmas! You gotta be excited for Christmas and Blogmas, of course!

But, today’s post is my favourites for the month of October. This month was a month of new discoveries and mostly, re-inventing my makeup, for sure! So, if you want to know what my favourite products are, keep on reading!

Everyday Makeup DIY – Oh yes, this product is still going strong! I wrote a post, all about it, which you can go check here. I mean, how can I not love this? It has all that I want and use on an everyday basis. I love it! Plus, it saves me so much time every morning!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown This is a rediscovery! I totally forgot how good pomades are! It is such an easy product to use and it makes filling in the brows so easy! Plus, it looks super natural! I’ve been using this non-stop and it lasts forever.

ELF HD Undereye Setting Powder – This is a product that I was not expecting to love as much as I do! It makes the skin so soft and even though it says it is an undereye setting powder, I actually use it all over the face and it looks so good!

Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss When I first got this product, I hated it. I just felt like it did not suit me, but now, I’m almost out of it, which is crazy since I never finish any makeup product. It just adds a nice sheen to the lips while moisturizing and nourishing the lips.

Etude House Dr Mascara Fixer – Oh! My! God! This is a life changer! Go read all of my thoughts about it here. It has completely changed the way my lashes look throught the day! It keeps them curled, just like when I first curled them! It is so good!

Top 3 Lipsticks for Autumn

Hey you! Autumn is one of my favourite seasons! I just love seeing the leaves changing colour and the cold that it’s felt outside! It just makes me so melancholic!

So, today, I’ll be sharing with you my favourite lipsticks for this season! When it comes to lipsticks, I use several colours. I do enjoy a really deep purple/burgundy, a nice browny nude and a classic brown. I just feel that like this, I have every lipstick that I need to go with all the looks that I might be doing during this season. So, without further due, let’s jump right into it!

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Transylvania I’ve just discovered this shade quite recently, but I feel right in love with it! It is just the most perfect deep plum shade, so perfect for autumn, just when you want to take the makeup look, to the next level! Trust me, you need this shade in your life!

Essence Sheer & Shine Lipstick in Glamour Queen This is my version of an adequated Autumn nude lipstick! I just adore this lipstick and this formula as well! It is such a close match to my natural lip colour, and it just enhances it, slightly. It is such a flattering colour! And perfect for this time of the year, since it is slightly darker than your normal nude lipsticks!

Avon Perfectly Matte Lipstick in Marvelous Mocha This is such an amazing formula. I do adore Avon products, and this lipstick is no exception! This is more of a light brown shade, which I do love, and it looks so good on. The formula is so comfortable and it lasts all day long!
