Inside My Travel Makeup Bag

Hey you! I’ve been MIA this past week, due to a lot of work, it was a lot. But now, most of it is all done and now, things are getting back into normal. So, if you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t, you have to), you’d know that last weekend was the christening of my niece. So, just keep on reading!

Firstly, the makeup bag. It’s from Primark and it is originally not supposed to be a mekup bag. But, everythings fit in so well, that now I just keep it as a makeup bag. also, it was a gift from my boyfriend, last year, maybe you can still find it in some stores, but online, I cannot find. Now, into the makeup that I took with me!

ELF Hydrating Under Eye Primer – Clearly this is an undereye primer, but I’ve been using it all over my face and I find that it does work a lot better than most primers. It is moisturizing and absorbs really quickly into the skin. And, even though it does not fill the pores I cannot say enough good things about it.

Avon Stick Concealer in Medium and Tarte Shape Tape in Light Sand If you know me, I do not wear foundation that much but I adore concealer and I’ve been mixing these two for the past month and I’ve been loving the look. You’ll definitely see them in an upcoming favourites post.

Avon ColorTrend Oil Control Pressed Powder in Light This is such a finely mild powder! Although this is not my actually shade, I find that once on the skin, you cannot tell that the colour is too light. Plus, it does keep me matte.

Revolution Duo Face Sculpt – This is quite a red-based bronzer and I haven’t got anything like it in my collection. Don’t be scared that it is a red-toned, once on the skin, it does look very natural.

Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette – I have been using this guy for the last two months now and I haven’t put it down yet. For eyeshadows, I’ve been loving the shade Coconut Cream to set my hole lid and highlight the brow bone. Then I mix Mousse and Peanut Butter together and use them through the crease and lid and that’s it. I also have been using this palette for my face highlighter and for this I mix Butter Pecan with a little bit of Pink Sugar and apply it to the cheeks. It is such a beautiful combination!

Have you tried any of these? What do you take with you? NA
