How to Successfully Declutter

Hey you! Lately, I’ve been watching so much declutter videos, and let me tell you, those are my absolute favourite along with “shop my stash”, and let me tell you, it has changed my life! I’ve been so inspired by them to start decluttering my life, including, makeup and clothes (I haven’t tacked my shoe collection yet, so send help my way!). Plus, I’m moving in 18 months (give or take a couple of months), so I desperately need to condense my possessions.

So, I thought it would be a nice idea to share some tips on how you can declutter stuff out of your life and hopefully, you’ll feel inspired by this and go declutter!

Step 1: Lay everything out – This may seem like a logical step to take, but it’s the one that makes all the difference! By taking everything out and laying it in front of you can you truly see all the how much stuff you have. It may astonish you!

Step 2: Pick what you love – Again, this may seem like a no-brainer, but by choosing the items that you absolutely love and use all the time, you will see that you don’t actually need the other ones.

Step 3: Declutter the dupes – While on this decluttering adventure, you will find that you do have some dupes of the exact same thing. And, if you are not using it, you might as well declutter it, because let’s face it, it is just creating clutter!

Step 4: Reorganize and store everything that you kept – Now that everything is decluttered it is time to store and organize everything. You will find that a lot less space is needed for you to keep everything that you truly use! No more clutter!

I find this is the best approach to decluttering things, and you can apply these rules to whatever you want! Let me know how your declutter session went! NA
